Ranganthittu is home to many resident birds and attracts some of the most beautiful winter migrants. The area is dotted with small islets along the Kaveri river that provides the perfect breeding grounds for birds. Ranganthittu also has highest density of wild marsh crocodiles and can be easily photographed in their natural habitat. The presence of bamboo offers the perfect nesting place for smaller birds, such as flycatchers. It’s safe to say that Ranganthittu offers you the most divine light and photographic opportunities.

The best time to visit Ranganthittu bird sanctuary is from December to February.

About Tour
The Ranganthittu photo tour starts at 6AM and ends at 6PM.
We will be spending close to 12 hours on the field, out of which 6-7 hours will be spent on a private boat.
We will be focusing on different species of birds at different time of the day and our aim is to get world-class pictures of the birds and the crocodiles by end of the day.
Yashas will be with the participants for the whole day guiding them to get the best possible pictures on the field.
Cost of tour per day (For Indian nationality)
One on One : Rs. 25,000/-
Group of two : Rs. 18,000/- per person
Group of three : Rs. 13,000/- per person
This cost includes entry fee, boat fee and guide fee.
Camera fee, food, tips (if any) and accommodation will be extra cost.
